Listen/Watch: Minderbender - Expectations

Wellington electro/post-punk duo Minderbender have released the first single from their forthcoming debut album Emotions. Appearing on live bills for a good year now, they offer up an abrasive experimental sound akin to A Place To Bury Strangers but head in an entirely different direction vocally, with an odd spoken word approach. The single comes complete with a video, directed by Wellington film-maker Cameron Brown,  that was inspired by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 'Y Control' clip (directed by Spike Jonze).
