Ambient instrumentalists Inventions have shared the first single form their self-titled debut album, due out in April. The new project from Explosions in The Sky guitarist Mark T. Smith and multi-instrumentalist Matthew Cooper from Eluvium, their first offering tends toward the minimalism of Coopers previous work but with a certain brightness that is no doubt the influence of Smith.
