Pixies Headed to Australia For Vivid LIVE in May

The Pixies are headed to Australia in May to perform four exclusive shows at the Sydney Opera House as part of the annual Vivid LIVE festival. The iconic band kicked back into action last year, sans Kim Deal sadly, commencing a world tour and releasing two new EPs - EP1 (Nov) and EP2 (Jan). They will be opening the 2014 edition of the increasingly esteemed festival which in past years has seen memorable performances from The Cure and Kraftwerk.

Their first visit down this way since the Doolittle 20th anniversary tour in 2010,  we are of course hoping for our own visit and while we haven't done that well off Vivid Live in the past, there is a bit of space in their current tour schedule for a visit down our way before they head to Australia - fingers crossed!
