Listen: Potty Mouth - Take Me Away
The four ladies that form Massachusetts punk group Potty Mouth have recorded the song 'Take Me Away', originally by the fake band Pink Slip from the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday starring Lindsay Lohan. The track is to be featured on a compilation called Faux Real, which will be available on Record Store Day on April 19, via Father/Daughter Records. Other tracks in the mix include Sadie Dupuis's version of 'Pretend To Be Nice' from Josie And The Pussycats, and The Everywheres take on Jet Screamer’s “Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah" from The Jetsons cartoon. Potty Mouth have definitely put their stamp on the fictional band's track, making it an abrasive force to be reckoned with.
