Tourettes and Ben Salter Head On Nationwide Tour
Prolific Auckland artist Tourettes, aka Dominic Hoey, is kicking off a nationwide tour this weekend with Australian folk musician Ben Salter. However, Tourettes is shedding his guise as a rapper for the tour as he hits the road to promote his first self-published book of poetry, Party Tricks and Boring Secrets, which is embellished with dark medieval-style drawings by local tattoo artist Joshua Solomon. Supporting him on the 12-date tour is Ben Salter, who met Hoey by chance in Iceland when the rapper was working on his debut novel and the pair became firm friends. During the performances Salter will be performing a wealth of material from his back catalogue. Read on for more information about the shows (where the book will be available for purchase)...
