Thursday 8th May, 2014 11:36AM

The first four films confirmed for the New Zealand International Film Festival are all music-themed offerings and include the 'Pulp' documentary from Kiwi director Florian Habicht (Woodenhead, Kaikohe Demolition). The 90-minute film follows Jarvis Cocker and the group as they head back to their hometown of Sheffield to perform at Motorpoint Arena. The movie tracks the band as they prep for the gig and Florian interviews both the band members and their fans.

The film premiered at SXSW in March, but will be making its way around the country during the festival which kicks off in July.

The other three films confirmed are 20,000 Days On Earth (Nick Cave), Frank and Jimi: All Is By My Side. Watch the trailer for 'Pulp' below...
