Video: Tami Neilson - Texas

To celebrate her collaborative win at the New Zealand Country Music Awards this weekend, songstress Tami Neilson is sharing her brand new video for 'Texas'. Set up like a 1960s live television broadcast, the clip sees Neilson and her hayriding band get introduced by a dapper Delaney Davidson before launching into 'Texas' and then giving an extra performance of 'Cry Over You'. The tracks are taken from Neilson's album Dynamite, which was released earlier this year.

Over the weekend Neilson and Davidson won the prize for Best Country Music Song at the New Zealand Country Music Awards for their track 'Whiskey & Kisses', in which Neilson sings a duet with country mainstay, Ben Woolley. APRA/AMCOS spokesman Anthony Healey said of the song, “Tami and Delaney have written a country song that will be remembered for many years. It is emotional and honest and it has proved to be the best country song of the year.” The award for Best Country Music Album was given to Kaylee Bell for Heart First.
