Video: Dorkwave - Dorkstreet Boys

The music of the Backstreet Boys has been given a new lease on life by Dunedin based artist Dorkwave. The producer, who has a habit of recontextualising 90s pop, has shared a new video for his track 'Dorkstreet Boys', a chillwave tune that uses an extremely stretched vocal sample from the 1999 single 'I Want It That Way' by the American boy band. The recycled cut is part of Dorkwave's debut EP titled Vol. 1, which released a few months ago via the Charisma Collective and can be found on their Bandcamp page. The accompanying video has been created by Ryan Achten of Soma and plays with reflective kaleidoscoping and tripped out projections. Take a look below...
