Listen: Instant Fantasy - You're A Liar

Following on from the critical success of his latest album Guilt Mirrors, Shocking Pinks (aka Nick Harte) has curated a mixtape through Promised Miracles record label. Free to download, the 14-track album includes music from New Zealand and Australian artists such as Emily Edrosa, Junica and Pikachunes (who remixed Dragon's classic hit 'Are You Old Enough?').

For the mixtape, Harte also managed to get his hand on previously-unreleased material from Scott Mannion (Tokey Tones) and Instant Fantasy, the solo moniker of artist Gemma Syme. Harte previously collaborated with Syme for his ethereal track 'St. Louis', and here she returns with an equally entrancing track underpinned by a wallowing baseline, and sitar-like strings.
