Nick Cave To Speak At Documentary Screening

To coincide with his Auckland shows in December, Nick Cave has announced that he will be making a special appearance at a screening of his pseudo-doco 20,000 Days On Earth and host a Q & A session following the film. Cave will be performing at four sold-out shows while in the country, across Wellington and Auckland, but only Auckland will be holding the special movie screening session. 20,000 Days On Earth had a recent run through the New Zealand International Film Festival and is now on general release through cinemas. The film, which was co-written by Cave and directed by Ian Forsyth and Jane Pollard, purports to capture Cave during his 20,000th day on earth (but was obviously orchestrated over a much longer time period) and gives a series of intriguing insights into the world of Cave.
