Torche Announces New Zealand Show

Miami sludge-metal act Torche have announced they are heading to New Zealand for the first time ever for one show in October. The Auckland performance takes place ahead of a string of Australian shows for the group, who formed in 2003 and have three full-length albums under their belt, the most latest being 2012 offering Harmonicraft. Torche are a band from the US of A consisting of four dudes playing the loudest and heaviest hard rock on the planet bio buzz word bullpucky aside, Torche make solid, catchy, loud ROCK MUSIC & we think it's good, very good, and you trust us right?. Formed by vocalist / guitarist Steve Brooks in 2004 after the dissolution of cult, sludge / stoner metal pioneers Floor, the group introduced the world to a refreshingly unique version of rock n' roll. Torche have spent the last 10 years shattering ears and captivating crowds with their infectiously original heavy rock complete with soaring, harmonic vocals and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome them to our shores for the first time.
