Video: Swampland - Honest Man

Swampland have emerged with a beautifully shot black-and-white video for their recent single 'Honest Man'. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, frontman Tony Daunt says he wrote the song about 10 years ago while he was lost in addiction. "My life was a just a runaway train of chaos and desperation," he says. "Even though I was in denial about how my high risk lifestyle and destructive behaviour affected all around me, on a subconscious level I was quite aware of where I was and it was clearly documented in the lyrics of the songs I wrote at the time". The clip for 'Honest Man' was produced by Paul Taylor and shot at Auckland bar The Lucha Lounge, and stars burlesque dancers Penny Pins and Amorous Ava. Daunt says the setting gritty setting is an insightful portrayal of what the song means to him. Take a look below...
