Video: Jakob - Blind Them With Science (UTR Premiere)

Jakob are premiering a beautifully shot black 'n' white video for 'Blind Them With Science', the lead single from their long-awaited album Sines, which is coming out 17th October through Shoot The Freak. The crisp performance clip was filmed under the watchful eye of cinematographer Peter Janes, the man responsible for creating a slew of iconic Flying Nun videos since the 1980s including clips for The Clean, Tall Dwarfs, The Bats and The Verlaines. The freshly unleashed video for 'Blind Them With Science' is a stripped back affair, showcasing the Hawkes Bay-based trio's talent in delivering brilliantly composed post-rock tunes. Small details, such a an extreme close up on guitar strings and a communicative look between bandmates, put the viewer right in the room. Take a look below...
