Listen: CW Stoneking - The Thing I Done

A new single has been unveiled by jungle musician CW Stoneking, from his forthcoming album Gon’ Boogaloo. The track, titled 'The Thing I Done' is an excellent slice of primitive pop from the gravelly voiced Australian, who has had a six-year breather between the forthcoming record and his 2008 release Jungle Blues. Coming out 17th October, Gon' Boogaloo was laid down in two days at Sound Recordings, the Castlemaine-based studio that specialises in analogue tracking with Alex Bennett (formerly of Auckland outfit Raw Nerves) at the helm.
