Listen: Kitsch - Zero Ave

Wednesday 5th November, 2014 9:04AM

In anticipation of unleashing their new album Plastic Lives later this month, Auckland four-piece are Kitsch are sharing second single 'Zero Avenue'. It's been a long time between drinks for the group, who have managed to successfully blend pop rock rhythms with punk sensibilities for nearly 20 years now. Their last release was 2010 EP, Destroy The Lines, and prior to that was 2005 album The Burning Ground. This new album sees the band joined by guitarist Hadleigh Donald (Bleeders, Cobra Khan) and was engineered by Andrew Buckton in one of the final sessions at the now defunct Studio 203. Plastic lives will be out 21st November through Elevenfifty Seven Records, but in the meantime listen to 'Zero Avenue' below and head over here to check out first single 'Mouse Mouth'...

Kitsch are celebrating their album release with a show at Auckland's Kings Arms on Friday 28th November with support from Craig Radford and The MurderChord. Head over here for details and to buy tickets.
