Weekly Round Up: Friday 23rd January

Friday 23rd January, 2015 4:06PM

After such a mad dash of show announcements before the summer break, things have been fairly quiet in terms of tour announcements of late. This week brought news that British producer Bonobo would be coming to New Zealand for a one-off show in March. And UK outfit The Waterboys have also planned a trip downunder for the end of March, to celebrate the release of their new album. On the festival front, the organisers of Womad 2015 have unveiled the stage schedule for the upcoming three-day event. And the Laneway Festival timetable was revealed for the big day on Monday, which will see Auckland's Silo park play host to four stages to accommodate the huge line-up of local and international acts... see you there!!

In release news, local outfit Surf City shared the lead single from their forthcoming album Jekyll Island, due out late March through Fire Records. Auckland hardcore group Graves unleashed a nine-track album titled Fides Ad Nauseam through Bandcamp. Looking overseas, Gang Of Four let loose a new single featuring the vocals of Alison Mosshart (The Kills), from the band's forthcoming eighth studio album. Modest Mouse revealed new single 'Coyote' with a video, the track is taken from soon-to-be released album Strangers To Ourselves. And Aphex Twin unveiled a cool remix from his forthcoming EP called Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments PT 2.

This week's Caught Live is a fan-shot video of Dead Moon tearing things up at Go Sinner Go in Madrid last weekend...
