Back in 2001 the rap duo of Vast Aire and Vordul Mega, collectively known as Cannibal Ox, released their highly regarded debut album The Cold Vein, which brandished top notch production from none other than EL-P (Run The Jewels). Now, 14 years later, the Harlem pair are preparing to drop the super-anticipated sophomore record Blade Of The Ronin this March and as a taster they are sharing first single 'Iron Rose', which features a stellar contribution from baritone verse-slinger MF Doom. EL-P has not returned for this follow-up record, instead the beat production duties been helmed up by Bill Cosmiq and despite the difference Can Ox retain their trademark steely sound. Listen below...
