Video: Courtney Barnett - Depreston
Tuesday 3rd March, 2015 10:00AM
Australian wordsmith Courtney Barnett articulates the bleak business of househunting in her new single 'Depreston', lifted from her forthcoming full-length debut Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. Using her trademark dry wit, Barnett tells the tale of visiting Melbourne suburb of Preston, dubbed 'Depreston' for the song, to inspect a house on the market. The song has come accompanied by a simple video of split scenes travelling through suburban streets. The record is due out late March through Mom + Pop Records, in the meantime enjoy this latest taster...
