Good Riddance Announce Two New Zealand Shows

Santa Cruz punk rockers Good Riddance are returning to New Zealand for the first time in 11 years. The four-piece, who broke up in 2007 and reunited in 2012, are heading this way off the back of the release of their eighth studio album Peace In Our Time, which dropped last month through seminal punk label Fat Wreck Chords. It is the first album from the group since 2006 album My Republic, which came out not long before they split. Here are the details for their upcoming August shows...

Hailing from Santa Cruz, California in 1990 four scruffy kids that could barely contain their love for Bad Religion began a legacy that would become Good Riddance.

Things moved fast for Good Riddance and they quickly became one of the most important melodic hardcore bands on the So-Cal scene for the next decade. With massive album sales that numbered in the six figures, while still staying true to their ideals and D.I.Y punk ethic Good Riddance fast became a force to be reckoned with.

They toured relentlessly. Harder than any band in the scene they gained a huge following worldwide, they burned the brightest, but sadly in 2007 they burned out.

Now after close to a decade they are back with the original line up and a new record, their first since 2006’s “My Republic”. The new “Peace in our Time” is becoming a highlight of this year’s punk/HC releases.

Now finally in 2015 they are back in NZ and Dog Run Bookings are proud to present for the first time in 11 years Good Riddance.

For only two shows the Fat Wreckchords mainstays will be tearing up stages on our shores once again.
