Video: Lower Dens - Sucker's Shangri-La

Baltimore dream pop outfit Lower Dens have gotten pretty meta in their new music video for 'Sucker's Shangri-La', lifted from their latest album Escape From Evil. Gender-fluid frontperson Jana Hunter doesn't feature as the star of the clip, but instead is embedded within a karaoke video that is being performed in a dingy bar by singer Hiro Xu. The video was crafted by award-winning film director Zachary Treitz, who recently took home the Best New Narrative Director from the Tribeca Film Festival for his movie Men Go To Battle.
