This week brought with the top notch news that wonderful and frightening world of The Fall are returning to New Zealand for two shows in October, the impending visit coming off the back of releasing their 31st studio album Sub-Lingual Tablet. Washington DC hip hop artist Oddisee is returning to these shores for two performances across Wellington and Auckland in December. And that same weekend in Decemberwill see rapper Yelawolf hitting Auckland for one date at The Studio.


In release news, Auckland four-piece French Testing unveiled a new track, titled 'Saab On Saab', as they prepare to unveil their album Blue Nude in the near future. Influential Dunedin outfit The Chills revealed details for their first record in nearly two decades as well as sharing a brand new single. Speaking of influential acts coming out of the woodwork, new wave legends New Order released the first single from their upcoming album Music Complete. Dance punks !!! announced a new record due out mid-October and generously shared two tracks. And San Fran outfit Deaf Heaven revealed details for their forthcoming third record New Bermuda, due out in late October.


This week's Caught Live is Run The Jewels delivering a stellar performance of 'Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)' with Zack De La Rocha this year's Pitchfork Music Festival...
