Despite becoming a household name in Australia, North America and Europe Yumi Zouma are only just making waves in New Zealand. Having released their debut E.P. in February 2014 through acclaimed Cascine label, Pitchfork Media has described it as “an effortless cascade of echoing riffs and enchanting harmonies converging into a mirage of dream-pop purity.” Fader Describes them as “multinational dream-poppers”, and Stereogum goes on to say “As romantic as it is dreamy, it makes for a solid attention getter for this new band..”

Yumi Zouma have been touring alongside Chet Faker in Australia and North America, playing to sold out shows in large theatres. August sees them tour Europe before heading home to two debut shows in Auckland and Wellington. Catch them while you can!!

Yumi Zouma are close friends from New Zealand, who now live in between New York, New Zealand, and Paris. Their debut EP for Cascine (released February 11th) is a work of organic dream pop, pulsing with simple melodies and whispered intimacies.
