Part of the highly successful Wellington Jazz Festival, Meow Venue in the Edward St Precinct will again host a strong contingent of the best Jazz Musicians NZ has to offer. 2015 is a very strong programme of hard hitting music, and follows a strong tradition built up over the last few years at Meow, to test the boundaries of Jazz.
Wellington Jazz Festival @ Meow is all about showcasing the up and coming heroes and energy of the Jazz world, featuring a cabaret seating environment, as well as a dancefloor for the bands that you simply won’t be able to sit still for! Every night at Meow there will be a Jam Session; hosted by a local musician. The international musicians in Wellington for the Jazz Festival will be invited to take part, and mingle with students and local legends.
