Tour Information
Dictaphone Blues are taking to the road again in support of their latest musical offering, Lance’s Tape. The song is taken from Dictaphone Blues' album Mufti Day and is a shoe shuffle inducing slice of indie pop that's sure to warm up the airwaves as we descend into winter.

With the new single on all good airwaves, and accompanying music video hitting 'The Net' on May 15th, Dictaphone Blues thought it only fair and expected to launch the furore via live popular music performances throughout our great nation.

See the music video teaser here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnoDy08NF6Y as it follows our hero Lance filming VHS history in some of his favourite Auckland hotspots.

The seed of the song resides in a story that songwriter Edward Castelow heard about a 'naughty video' that was handed around a high school in Dunedin in the 1990's.
This was pre-internet, a time where you had to have the guts to walk into the adult section of the video store to get your hands on such an item, or have a cool older sibling. At this high school, which will remain
anonymous, you had to know the right person, they had to think that you were deserved of the tape and then you would get to dub it. The only thing that was written on this Holy Grail was 'Lance'sTape'.

Catch the band playing shows in Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Christchurch as
they pick songs from all three albums to entertain new and old fans alike.
