Pirates City Rollers Broadside Brawlers vs Mt Militia

You are invited to come and support the Broadside Brawlers as they open PCR’s 2015 season.

The Broadside Brawlers will take on Mt Militia for the first time at home. The Broadside Brawlers are looking for a home victory but we need your support. Come and cheer for us. Bing posters, enjoy the half time entertainment, partake in the onsite refreshments, and most importantly don’t forget to wear red and black.

Come and experience real roller derby as the two teams battle it out head to head for in the world’s fastest growing female sport.

Don’t understand how the teams are structured' Pirate City Rollers are an Auckland Based Roller Derby League (in other sports it would be called a club) made up of over 50 skaters, Refs and NSO’s. PCR have drafted two travel teams for the 2015 season to represent them around Aotearoa and abroad – these teams are the All Scars and the Broadside Brawlers (similar to Rep. Teams in other sports). Both teams are selected from players that are available in PCR’s home teams, who solely compete in Auckland.

The Broadside Brawlers were formed by PCR in 2014 and are really excited about all their games in 2015 as they prepare for Japan in 2016.
