Austin Texas heavy metal legends The Sword will be making their highly anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand this February in support of their critically acclaimed 5th album High Country, which charted at number 30 in the US Billboard 200 and smashed top 10 lists and sales charts all around the World.

The Sword are at the top of their game and they’re finally returning!

Since their inception in 2003, The Swords have graced us with their presence on a number of occasions, but nothing like this, their triumphant return to the Southern Hemisphere in February will mark their first ever headline tour, as they’ve previously toured here in support of Metallica (2010) and as part of the 2011 & 2013 Soundwave Festival. They’ve never headlined their own tour in Australia and New Zealand, till now that is.
To make their first headline tour all the more special, The Sword will be bringing their home town brethren’s American Sharks (Austin, TX) with them, they’ve also invited Melbourne’s own punk rock hero’s Clowns along for the ride.
