Tour Information
TWO BANDS, TWO NEW SINGLES, 6 SHOWS AROUND THE COUNTRY IN APRIL.

ARMED IN ADVANCE
Armed In Advance (formerly Stitches) are a hard rock trio known for their heavy hitting riffs, soaring melodies and purposeful songwriting. A top 20 on the national radio scope rock charts (‘Stay’), peaking at #13, and a sold out Auckland dual headline show along with Christchurch rockers Setting Fire To Stacey were the highlights of 2015 for AIA. 2016 kicks off with Armed In Advance set to play a 6 date national tour alongside Wellington rockers Bakers Eddy in support of a brand new single.

in 2013, Armed In Advance’s first single, Blood on Your Harem, received prominent airplay on The Rock FM's esteemed Off The Record segment, as did follow up single Light. In support of the release, Armed In Advance (then Called Stitches) completed a dual headline tour of the country in March 2014, then again hit the road in October in support of Villainy on the six date ‘Ammunition’ tour. The following 6 months saw the band take their immersive live performance to the stage alongside the likes of These Four Walls, Ekko Park, Black River Drive and I Am Giant. Now, AIA are on one very simple mission; to make their live show bigger and better every time they step on the stage.

BAKERS EDDY
Inspired by the sounds of 90s/early 2000s rock, With Foo Fighters, Shihad, The Mint Chicks and The D4 as reference points, Bakers Eddy have done substantial work to build on their talent and dedication, establishing themselves as one of the most in-demand young rock bands from the capital in the process. They've performed extensively around New Zealand alongside the likes of Curlys Jewels, Gentleman Callers, Setting Fire to Stacey, Armed In Advance and Black Trio, winning themselves fans from Auckland to Dunedin along the way.

Winners of the 2015 New Zealand Battle of the bands, having recorded with respected London music producer Asa Bennett, and work-shopped songs with the legendary Dave Dobbyn at Wanaka's Yami Sounz Summit, The key to their progress has been professionalism plus dedication, coupled with songwriting and playing that's all lean muscle. Online, Bakers Eddy's infectious single 'Something Outside' has racked up over 16,000 plays on soundcloud. Offline, it's been heavily supported by The Rock FM in recent months.

Welding infectious melodies to classic rock themes, ascendant guitar riffs and sing-along group vocals - live and recorded - Bakers Eddy are poised to make a significant impact on the New Zealand rock music scene over the months to come.

Also joining the bill are Auckland Rockers DEAD BEAT BOYS AND CORIDIAN

Dead Beat Boys are the bastard sons Garage rock and hardcore punk. Their tracks Robotronic and most recently 2 have been tearing up the NZ radio waves and their electrifying live show is not to be missed.

Coridian are an Alt Rock four piece with tight riffs and belting vocals with a debut EP and a growing live rep to their name.
