Drax Project return to Bodega for a mid-winter warm up, courtesy of VUWSAs Re-OWeek celebrations.

Initially starting as buskers, then building a reputation for killer Wellington club shows, the band grew to play gigs and festivals around the country, along with supporting acts like Gorillaz Sound System, SBTRKT and David Dallas, before signing to Universal in late 2015. Their first release on the label Cold went straight to number 1 on the Spotify Viral Chart. Theyve since backed this up with a sold out national tour and the release of their terribly amazing lyric video for Seemed Like Trouble - which has amazed even its makers by getting regular television plays.

Theyre now back in the studio working on new tracks... Some of which may even get a first outing at this show. If youve seen Drax live before, you probably didnt need this sales pitch to be convinced. If you havent, its probably time you found out why theres such hype
