Tour Information
Sam Fowles backed by his funk, rock, blues band, Ghost Who Walks, has been wowing audiences with their electrifying live sets since the bands inception. With their tight rhythm section and groove that will make you move; soaring leads, funky riffs and soulful vocals their lyrical styles relate to the listener. The anthemic Vertigo will take you on a psychedelic funk journey, their crunching calling card of Searching for Freedom through to the funky, down and dirty Walking Talking Blues and cascading into the inspirational Soul Power. The revelations of the Wellington born guitarist, singer and songwriter, Sam finds himself just as much a fusion as his wide range of inspirations and influences, pushing the boundary's musically as far as possible with songs that drive and soar, making music that moves the body and touches the soul.

Regulars on the local Wellington music scene and their first EP due to drop in December, Ghost Who Walks are joined at Caroline by fellow Battle of the Bands finalists Otium, and soloist Jessy Wadeson.

Otium, emerging from the small town of Whangarei, brings a new generation of artists forging a reputation as being one of Northland’s most unique, dynamic and exciting live acts in the region. With influences from reggae, funk, rock, ska and pop they have created a significant sound in music having shared the stage with some top-class acts such as Katchafire, Jordan Luck, L.A.B and The Herbs.

Opening talent on the night is Jesse Wadeson. No stranger to Wellington music this blues and soul singer songwriter has travelled far and wide sharing her passion and playing on international stages as far afield as Austin, Texas and Guatemala. Now settled in Auckland, Jesse is an opening act not to be missed!
