PERC (PERC TRAX, STROBOSCOPIC ARTEFACTS//UK)

London-based scene leader Ali Wells, otherwise known as Perc, hardly needs an introduction. Having been actively releasing under the moniker since the early 2000s, he has pushed a sound that is equal parts inspired by modern techno’s forefathers as it is by the industrial and new wave sounds of the 1980s, which has led him to release on highly influential labels such as Kompakt, Drumcode, and Stroboscopic Artefacts. As well as this Wells’ increasingly essential Perc Trax imprint has seen him release some of the toughest forward-thinking dance music in the European techno scene today, including releases from Ansome, AnD, and Truss, as well as his own work as Perc including 3 albums since 2011, with 2017’s ‘Bitter Music’ standing out amongst this years’ releases. This has given him a busy touring schedule as an international DJ, with slots earned at some of the world’s most infamous clubs such as Berlin’s Berghain and Tresor and London’s Fabric, as well as tours throughout Asia and the Americas. The team here at Haven couldn’t be more excited to be bringing you one of techno’s most distinctive voices to make your body move till the small hours.
