Into Orbit, Thousand Limbs and Slumbug

As part of a four-date tour, Wellington atmospheric rock/metal duo Into Orbit will perform at Whammy Backroom on Saturday 27 January.

2017 has been a productive year for the duo. Having released their second album Unearthing, signed to to Australian label Art as Catharsis and played main support for Alcest & Pallbearer, they have now completed recording for a third, yet unnamed album. This tour marks the beginning of the new album cycle and will be a chance to hear some of the new material.

Supporting the Auckland show will be instrumental doom metal quartet Thousand Limbs and sludge metal/stoner punk trio Slumbug.
