Tour Information
After five years of relentless international touring as Xavier Rudd’s right-hand percussion man, Bobby Alu is back on his own track and giving New Zealanders the very first look at brand new single Move, due for release on March 2.

It’s been a while since 2015’s Bay Sessions EP underlined the Byron Bay singer, ukulele strummer and drummer for the master of cruise that he is, and the lead single from his third long-player slated for a late 2018 release presents his clearest take on this yet:

Move. And be moved. Find your flow and go about each day to the rhythm of your own making.
With snappy log drum rhythms inspired by a strong family lineage of Polynesian musicians, island-time uke vibes and smooth harmonies dressed up in tight equatorial folk stylings, Move is a musical directive – there’s no way you won’t tap your feet. Alongside his band in full flight, New Zealanders take note – be sure to bring your dancing shoes for this special run of preview shows.
