Award winning UK superstar DJ, producer and turntablist extraordinaire DJ Yoda is returning to Wellington for the first time in 5 years, bringing his original and genre defying mashup mayhem style and audio-visual show extravaganza.

Considered one of “Top Three DJs in the World” alongside DJ Premier (Hip Hop Connection) and one of “The 10 DJs you must see before you die” (Q Magazine), DJ Yoda’s CV is more than impressive, with collaborations with artists such as Roots Manuva, Scroobius Pop, Action Bronson and Michael Winslow - from Police Academy! DJ Yoda regularly frequents all the big global music festivals (Hello, Glastonbury!), has guest DJed on BBC’s Radio 1 and Dr Dre’s Beats 1 Show and has even performed at Banksy’s pop-up Bemusment Park, Dismaland.

Expect deck shredding, hip hop and bass heavy big beats combined with anything as random as mainstream pop, glam rock and 8-bit gaming classics. And then some. All backed with his audio-visual show like no other which will have you getting your groove on and laughing out loud in equal measure!
