Steinway Concert Grand Meets Flamenco Dancer

The Steinway Series D Concert Grand is coming back to Freida's- for a special 2 night season with world renowned Flamenco dancer Isabel Rivera Cuenca and Jazzz Pianist Jonathan Crayford at the Concert Grand!
It will be an evening of Latin Dance Rhythms created by two masters of their arts.
Isabel Rivera (Spain):
Isabel Rivera’s family hail from the southern Spanish heartland of flamenco: Isabel grew up in her family’s Andalucian cultural centre, her bedroom was behind the stage and since birth she could hear the pounding feet and clapping hands of flamenco. By age four her family realized the rhythm was in her blood and she was soon up on the stage herself.

Today Isabel’s on-stage charisma and her dancing passion have generated growing audiences across Spain Mexico and South America. Isabel is just winding up a tour of New Zealand.

Jonathan Crayford needs no introduction as he is one of the country's most prolific and talented jazz pianists and composers. Currently the custodian of a 1955 Steinway Series D Concert Grand - a beautiful instrument that has been played by several legendary concert pianists - Jonathan and Isabel meet sevearl years ago in Spain.

Tickets will be limited for these intimate events over two nights.
