Ritual Arts Of The Carnival

Strange and mesmerising carnival arts workshops will be held at Te Tuhi on the 13th and 20th of May between 12-3pm for the Arts Out East Festival; followed by a UV carnival art installation and performance at Uxbridge Arts and Culture on the 26th May from 1pm-3pm, featuring;

Die Gruwel,
Bloodbags,
Cowboy Gangsters,
Midnight Poetry Band,
One Legged Chicken Fight.

This will be a show with a difference; Yard Juice will be brewing up a deadly combination of traditional carnival arts with a yardcore twist of live music against a backdrop of ritualistic installation art. Come and get involved with the free workshops, create your own masks and banners and join the spirit of carnival.
