Sal Valentine - Maxine Single Release

'Maxine' is the second single taken from my potentially anticipated upcoming studio effort entitled 'This Party Blows'.
The song itself will be released on July 13th, with a music video planned for release in August.

Joining us @ Whammy will be my two fav local acts A.C. Freazy and Dual. Delicious.

I had this to say about my new single:

When writing, I find that it's easy to slip into a routine of constantly writing about yourself - or at least from your own perspective. It's more relevant I guess, so why not?
It was around two years ago that I had the very fruitful revelation that I didn't have to wallow in my own bullshit for a few seconds and in fact I could totally wallow in someone else's.
Maxine is a song about a detrimental clash of lifestyles, good intentions gone horribly wrong and culpability.
Sorry if y'all was expecting a super bright follow up to Cherry Blossom, but I'm slowly realising that I'm surrounded by gripping narratives - and this one was too good to pass up.

Names have been changed out of respect for everyone involved.
