Tour Information
If the current Dunedin music scene was a filing cabinet, categorising Albion Place would be a difficult task. With each release, the young foursome seems to display a different side of themselves. Not to say the music is disjointed - but rather thrives on variety, exhibiting a range of sounds and grooves. Their latest single Pleasure is no exception. The single features an energetic beat, smooth vocals and atmospheric keys. The lyrics are sensitive, dealing with the fragility of happiness. Pleasure signals the follow up to 2017’s debut full length LP: Mascuzzi Jacuzzi. 2017 was a ground-breaking year for Albion Place and came to conclusion in memorable fashion as they played New Year's festival Rhythm and Alps - a stage the boys had dreamt of playing since they attended it as teenagers.

In their early stages, Albion Place were merely the high school project of four mates who first began jamming on the streets of Dunedin. The release of their debut EP Here We Go in 2014 was never intended to reach anyone beyond their friends and family. 4 years, numerous tours and over 2 million streams later, Albion Place have already exceeded their own expectations.

Anyone who has been along to see Albion Place live would agree that this is is the best way to listen to their music. Their live show has an infectious quality that proves why they continue to sell out venues up and down the country. In January of 2018, the four-piece embarked on their first Australian tour, playing 8 shows across the east coast. The boys had an exceptional reception which earned them a return trip in March for the Billabong Backyard Party with Australian band The Chats. Now, on the back of Pleasure’s release, Albion Place head on a 6 date Aus/NZ tour stopping in Dunedin, Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne & Sydney. Don’t miss your chance to catch these exciting up-and comers in the flesh.
