Hellserpoppin erupted onto the live stage adding heat to an already overflowing hot 2003 Wellington summer. Joe and brothers matt and Jeremy are the creative force behind the spectacle, Joe with his symphonic booming vocals with Jeremy and matt holding the strings with their lead and bass guitar accompaniments. After many years of performing together in other bands, the trio decided to channel their mutual love and experience into the Hellserpoppin commitment. It was clear after a couple of rehearsals that the encroaching rock vibe felt by the band members be extended to the live stage. Over the years other band members have arrived and departed, including matt our bassist and brother (we love you matty, thanks for all the fun filled years), drummers and a sound effect specialist, leaving the pure essence of their input felt throughout. Our recient hellish addition is Chris who brings an organic yet fluid feel on drums, filling in the skeleton for the creators to nurture the dark forming limbs that reach out with our melodious presence. The latest addition is elliot. The new master of the low slapping strings thumping an extreem amount of funk, groove,and things some may find rude. Also studying jazz, he has already stolen our hearts and will soon have yours... We give eternal thanks to our followers for always holding such devotion, in our hearts you are the loving masses against smoky lights and the Hellserpoppin symphony. You channel our venom; you are the water to our thirst, the lifeblood in our veins. And we extend it to you all always.
