Bill Morris is a writer, filmmaker and songwriter based in Port Chalmers, Otago. He and his music travel from sweltering tropical lands to salty port towns and along the dark highways of the New Zealand night. Bill grew up in the high country of the South Island, and has worked as a commercial diver, journalist and wildlife filmmaker, although it has always been music that has defined him, ever since a line in a Kris Kristofferson song turned his blood cold at the age of about six.
