Amidst Haze is a progressive extreme metal band leaning closer to black/pagan metal than anything while incorporating elements from death metal, doom metal, classical, and Celtic folk. The name Amidst Haze came about in 2004 when Michael Koefman and his former bassist, Peter Davison, started working with drummer, Nikolas Kissel.
