This Wellington RnB/Soul duo, fronted by singer Kirsten Te Rito and keys player Mr. Illingworth, has been quietly simmering away for almost two years now. They are well supported by a vast contingency of friends, who happen to be some of the capitals most well known musical names. Joining them is guitarist and MC, Tyna, Darren Mathiassen, drummer to Hollie Smith, ex Trinity Roots and Rhombus, Rick Cranson of The Little Bushman, Warren Maxwell, Age Pryor and many more feature on their upcoming album. With the recent release of WALKING AWAY, their first single and video clip, BEBE DELUXE are ready to hit the live music scene and are currently planning their first show at Matterhorn, Wellington, on the 12th of June in support of the Matariki New Year celebrations, a symbolic time to unveil their works of the past few years. BEBE DELUXE plan to release their next single and video later in 2010, as well as their debut album.
