About Rad-x from Wellington
Rad-X first appeared on the scene in 2008 under the name Destitude, formed by Ex Damned Age members Clint and Mike.
Playing with bands like Dawn of Azazel and Daysend (Australia) in their first year, Rad-X were off to a good start!
In early 2009 Rad-X saw a few member changes, with original Bassist Joey and second guitarist Andy leaving the band.
Soon after Joey and Andy left, Dave (Ex Damned Age, Nullifier) took on the part of Bass but Rad-X were still left without a full lineup for the first few months of 2009.
After a long search for a second guitarist, Rad-X recruited Seth (Ex Purgury, The Great Southern Spitroast) as second Lead/Rythm guitar.
Rad-X were soon writing new material (Some of the best they'd ever written).
After a few very successful gigs in 2009 Duane (Vox) left the band and Seth took on the role of Guitar/Vox.
2010 is a year for another fresh start for Rad-X, with some great gigs lined up and great new material in the recording process.
We have alot to look forward to in 2010.
