A one-man project from New Zealand, seht -- Stephen Clover -- first appeared with the full-length CD-r "dronemusic" in 2001. A few years passed, which saw the appearance of "Voice of the taniwha" on Last Visible Dog (2003) and "Application antarctica download form" and "Communion longplayer" on Celebrate/Psi/Phenomenon (2005). In 2006 seht released the critically acclaimed "The green morning" on Digitalis. seht travelled to Australia in 2005 and 2006 and played a number of shows in Sydney and Melbourne; around the same time, a series of recordings were made available, including a 3" CD-r entitled "Sputnik II" (Diagnosis...Don't!) in 2006, the "Syddo paragone" CD-r on Audiobot (2005), the "Nova bonalbo" CD-r (Music Your Mind Will Love You, 2005), and the "Christian jesus, I will determine a suicide" CD-r (Foxglove, 2006). In the meantime, Clover earned extra props from the genre as a whole with his collaboration album with Howard Stelzer entitled "Exactly what you lost" (Intransitive, 2006). In addition to releasing work on Digitalis, seht also saw releases on PseudoArcana Records, which was responsible for the release of his groundbreaking "dead bees ((the((quiet)earth))suite)" CD in 2008. In 2009, seht returned to Digitalis for the release of the full-length LP "HRRY".
