These Automatic Changers is the latest vehicle for ever changing songwriters Solomon Cole & Lee Catlin. The sheer brute force of the band’s sound invites comparisons with the high intensity charge of classic sonic blues, leaden rock’n’roll, spooked by an altogether more archaic blend of 70's soul.
These Automatic Changers have released their eponymous E.P. Aimed at audiences seeking something more organic from the current climate of over produced rock n roll it’s described by Cole as "A collision of heart wrenching volume and beautiful maladies”. They promise to shift up a gear with each release the way artist’s used when they were allowed to mature over time. "We constantly seek that which is unattainable, whether it be in the sonics, the song-writing or the recording of the songs. We are always trying to improve upon our sound and vision and with this band we are getting ever closer to it.”
