AMARNA

Amarna formed in Wellington, at Whitireia Polytechnic in Porirua around 2000 with first and current members Kylie Puts and Ami Carney. Some members have come and gone, past members included Sam Pratt who formed the band,Lawl Rangi and Aaron Gunn.In 2003 Doug ten Broeke joined Amarna taking the role of guitar and entered the recording of their first demo of 5 tracks including songs 'toconsume' and 'whats wrong'.The e.p was recorded and mixed by Ants Herring who became the bass player soon after the recording. Amarna gig commonly around the Wellington region and continue writing original material and play favourite covers of Tool, Pantera and many more.
