Brewhaha

Brewhaha is a 6 piece group based in Wellington formed in 2009. Growing from a group of workmates who discovered a shared love of playing music, a couple of bandmates' friends were recruited to add a rhythm section, and the current line up has now been together for 12 months. Brewhaha started out as a social group playing mainly covers, but once the songwriting talents of several band members were unearthed, the group decided to focus on original music. Five nationalities are represented amongst our six members, reflecting the great melting pot that is Wellington. We play a variety of musical styles including blues, rock and reggae. The name Brewhaha plays on the association between 'an uproar or hubbub' (brouhaha), and the process of making a couple of our favourite drinks: coffee and beer!
