Jeremy Mason is a songwriter from Wellington, New Zealand. He writes minimalist alternative folk songs, accompanying his guitar with a “gentle voice which neatly undercuts some stark and dark imagery” (Elsewhere).
In 2005 he formed the punk band Kill the Fake Patient, which after 3 years and endless touring disbanded following the release of their debut album, Inside the Unattainable. Jeremy has since spent his time working on solo material between London and Glasgow.
His debut EP, Distorted Vision was self-released in April 2010 and revealed what Under the Radar described as “Beautiful music… with insistent spare strumming and haunting lyrics.” His follow up EP, You Will Never Know Everything, is due for release in August 2011 with supporting shows scheduled in the UK and Europe.
