Forming early in 2004, The War Within have rapidly evolved as one of the premier live acts on the local Wellington scene.
Comprised of former members of bands RSI and The Red Carpet Murder, TWW have from the outset aimed to forge a sound to call their own.
TWW have played with local bands, as well as supporting NZ acts like Sommerset, Kitsch, The Bleeders, Cobra Khan and Stylus.
In the spring of 2004, TWW recorded their debut EP with engineer Tim Shackelton.
The sound of TWW could at once be described as catchy yet subtle, combining obvious hooks with less conspicuous song structures to create a unique sound.
At the present TWW are writing new material to unleash upon the world in 2007.
