Matt Hay & the SubUrbans are hard to define - a little bit country, a little bit blues – roots rock perhaps. Frontman Matt Hay writes, and sings, deceptively simple songs about love lost, love found and life’s other little ups and downs.

Hay is an old scchool singer-songwriter, reminiscent of the great singer-songwriters of the 60’s and 70’s such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, James Taylor and Jackson Browne and the more recent additions this legacy such as John Hiatt and Ryan Adams.
