comprising of Hamish Pinkham, Jamie Buckley, KB and a collaboration of friends who love to jam and make sweet music. Helen Corry, Adrian Schamberger and Nego Beto (www.brazilbeat.co.nz) complete Blackbird which has been developing its sound since its inception as a four piece back in 2003. Since then, Blackbird has been a summer project for the remaining three piece, meeting up each summer with new tunes and ideas which express each individuals flavour and influence. Not a bad way to be spending the summer months.
